NEW COURSE

                  at Berklee College of Music
The R&R Hall of Fame organization was in established in 1986 by the music industry at large to identify, recognize, and study the great forefathers and pioneers of rock and pop music. This valuable course/ensemble has been established this Fall '08 by CWP faculty member Mirek Kocandrle for both performers and writers who are interested in studying and understanding the stylistic and technical subtleties of the various pop and rock genres. This is also one of the few times when two departments are working together to create a course, which benefits both the writer and the performer. Upon completion of this course the students will begin to gain understanding and insights into the major pop/rock performing and composing styles. Adopting these styles and understanding to one's own techniques is the ultimate necessity for the aspiring pop/rock musicians.
